An essay · Before the feed, there was the table
Two kinds of morning.
Mornings used to start with people. A diner booth before class, the corner of the dining hall, the kitchen table with the radio on — same friends, terrible coffee, someone with the paper, someone with a story. Twenty-five minutes of talk, then the day.
Somewhere between then and now, the feed replaced the friends. We traded that half hour of conversation for an hour of scrolling alone — more informed than ever, and lonelier at breakfast. Nobody chose that morning. An algorithm chose it for us.
morning.social brings the other morning back: a small, private table of friends, a short edition you build together, and thirty minutes of real conversation before the day begins.

No feed · No algorithm · Just your people
Your morning social time, at a table with your friends.
Everyone at the table adds links, topics, and sources — each morning's edition is built from what your people found worth talking about. Read it quietly, then come to the table at 7:00. Delivered by email and WhatsApp.
